that being said, here are some ways to goddess-worship on the DL (do people still say that?)
- make a small hidden altar. all my candles and ritual supplies are in a bin in my closet, not for secrecy, but to save space. my mother couldn't care less if i'm a pagan or if i worship the friggin flying spaghetti monster. but if your parents don't approve of paganism, you should probably keep a shoebox altar
- if your guardian lets you burn candles and/or incense, keep it common, to avoid suspicion. get scented candles. jasmine incense. the goddess probably doesn't care whether or not you use a specific scented candle or whether it's purchased at a new age shop.
- keep in mind, if you're going to burn incense or candles, people may be curious if you do it often enough, so try doing it only for sabbats and esbats
- praying is always a good idea and can be done without arousing suspicion.
- meditation is always a good idea also, and if anybody asks, it's to clear your mind and body of impurities. because it does that. and there are tons of guided meditations on youtube!
